Liberty Propane Announces Expansion into Virginia

OVERLAND PARK, KS -- Liberty Propane announced the acquisition of Blue Ridge Propane in Galax, and Hutchens Propane in Stuart, each located in the Blue Ridge Mountain area of southwestern Virginia. Blue Ridge and Hutchens represent an additional 3,000+ customers to Liberty's existing footprint in the Southeast.

Since Liberty's founding in July 2003, the company has completed 22 acquisitions representing a combined customer base approaching 100,000 which is served from 39 facilities across 11 states.
