Essential Job Functions:

Overview: Liberty Propane was founded in July of 2003 with the goal of acquiring, consolidating and operating retail propane distributors. Purpose: Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, managing or executing projects, handling information requests, maintaining confidential business files, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings to include conventions or trade shows and arranging travel. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Manage and maintain executives' schedules.
  2. Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint or other presentation software.
  3. Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their appropriate distribution.
  4. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and e-mail.
  5. File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  6. Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
  7. Perform general office duties such as maintaining records management systems.
  8. Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings.
  9. Make travel arrangements for executives.
  10. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent plus 7-10 years executive level administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Strong computer skills to include all Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Extremely detail-oriented with effective oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgement and discretion.
  5. Ability to timely manage multiple priorities.
  6. Ability to comprehend and accurately follow through on directions provided by supervisor.
  7. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  8. Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
  9. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  10. Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. College degree in Business Administration or equivalent business-related degree.
  2. Office administration experience in a multi-site operation.
  3. Advanced computer skills.
